MESSAGE 06/09

Una sa lahat, nais kong magpasalamat sa Parish Pastoral Council, Ministries, Parish Mandated Organizations, at Barangay Captains at kanilang mga Councils ng Zone 14, 15, at 16, sa inyong mainit na pagtanggap kay Most Rev. Bernardino C. Cortez, D.D. noong Dalaw Pastoral ng nakaraang buwan. Sa kabuuan, bagamat may mga puwang pa rin para sa pag-unlad sa buhay-pananampalataya, buhay-pagsamba, at buhay-kawanggawa, ang Obispo ay masaya sa kanyang natagpuan dito sa ating Parokya.
Maraming salamat din sa katatapos na “Flores de Maria” na pinamunuan ng Legion of Mary sa pagbibigay ng katekismo sa mga bata, kabinataan, at kadalagahan na nakiisa sa pag-aalay ng mga bulaklak kay Inang Maria. Salamat sa mga kababaihan at kalalakihang sumagala. Salamat din kay Dra. Luz Espiritu at kanyang pamilya na siyang nagmamay-ari at nangangalaga ng ating imaheng itinatanghal sa Altar tuwing buwan ng Mayo, ang Nuestra Señora dela Paz y Buenviaje (Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage), ang replica ng Birhen ng Antipolo.

Sa huli, nais kong anyayahan ang lahat ng estudyante na dumalo sa Solemn Mass of the Holy Spirit sa Hunyo 7, Sunday, sa 9:00 ng umaga. Ang misang ito ay tradisyong ginagawa sa mga Catholic Parochial School, Colleges, Universities and Seminaries hindi lamang bilang hudyat ng pagsisimula ng eskuwela, kundi, sa misang ito ay itinataas ang lahat ng mga estudyante, at ang kanilang mga petisyon para sa malusog, maunlad, ligtas, at matagumpay na pag-aaral. Tampok sa misang ito ang pagtawag sa Banal na Espiritu sa paggabay sa lahat ng mag-aaral. Hindi kinakailangang magpa-register, lahat ng estudyante sa lahat ng levels, maging sa private o public schools, ay inaanyayahan kong dumalo sa Banal na Pagdiriwang na ito.
Gayun din, ngayong mayroon nang naitala sa ating bansa na nagkasakit ng influenza A(H1N1) o unang tinawag na Swine Flu, matalino marahil na hindi muna tayo magkakapit ng kamay sa ating mga misa, lalo na tuwing aawit o magdarasal tayo ng “Ama Namin.” Sa inyong pag-alis at pagdating sa bahay, saan man naroon, mainam na ugaliin ang paghuhugas ng mga kamay. Atin ding dasalin sa ating mga tahanan ang Oratio Imperata na matatagpuan din sa ating newsletter na ito.
